Wild Game Processing
Effective immediately, Nolechek's will no longer accept boneless wild game to process into smoked or fresh sausage.
After great consideration, Nolechek’s wishes to inform our customers that we will no longer be accepting boneless wild game to process into smoked or fresh sausage. This includes venison, bear, elk, antelope, moose, and all other varieties of wild game, along with custom processing of beef and pork products.
This decision was not made lightly and there were many factors involved. As Jennifer put it, ‘It is the end of an era.’ And that it truly is. Nolechek’s processed venison for 50 years and our quality and consistency were what kept people coming back. And for that we are forever grateful.
We look forward with this decision. Forward to focusing on our own product to ensure we have inventory to meet customer expectations; forward to learning about new and exciting opportunities in the specialty food market; and forward to even developing a few new products. Wouldn’t that be exciting?!
We have grown significantly in the past five years, learning along the way. And we could not have done it without the dedication of our amazing team and unwavering support from customers like yourself. We are humbled to create products that are enjoyed by fans all over the country; and that we have become part of family traditions and memories that have spanned four generations. And it is our responsibility to adapt with the times.
