Welcome back all you cool ham, bacon and sausage lovers! It’s been an eventful month and the team at Nolechek’s has been busy putting together orders, shipping packages all over the country, waiting on customers, and making lots (and lots) of our own product and venison sausage!

What exactly have we been up to since we last posted?

Making KISHKA!

Kishka is a specialty old-world product that can be made in countless different ways. We make ours with barley and buckwheat and quality delicious pork. Stay tuned for a blog post dedicated to all things Kishka and until then, enjoy our favorite Polka song, ‘Who Stole the Kishka’ by Frankie Yankovic. And yes, the song is sung at least once during Kishka production. It’s a silly song and don’t worry, it drives you crazy when it gets stuck in your head…trust us. Venison Sausage

We make over 35 different products with boneless venison brought in by customers. We’ve been manufacturing over 1,500 pounds of venison a week since January. This includes summer sausage, snack sticks, wieners, polish, bratwurst and even venison bacon! The seasoning used in our venison product are the same family recipes that we use in our own products that are available in-store or online. Pizza time!

We expanded our offerings a year ago to include pizzas, enchiladas and stir fry all made in house! They’ve been flying off the freezer shelves and we’ve been doing our best to keep up with demand.

Slingin’ Sausage

Summer sausage is one of our fan favorites and people can’t get enough of our ten varieties. We offer garlic, all beef, plain, with cheese and even dried cranberries. And if you like it a little spicy, try our jalapeno version! This batch is waiting to go into the smokehouse and afterwards will be cut and wrapped, ready for sale.

Shipping Product

Our shipping department has been busy packing orders to ship all over the country. We’re honored that customers choose Nolechek’s and it puts smiles on our faces to see customers enjoying our product!
