Adults love them, kids think they’re cute, the options are endless and above all, they’re simple to make! Yup, we’re talking about sliders. And if you’re looking to feed a crowd, this is the way to do it most of these recipes can be assembled ahead of time and then popped in the oven when the time is right. Whether you’re looking for something different, delicious, or effortless, Nolechek’s has you covered with these 5 slider recipes you must try.
1. Easy Cheeseburger Sliders
We found this Easy Cheeseburger Sliders recipe from Natasha’s Kitchen too tasty to pass up and we weren’t wrong. Try your best to find King’s Hawaiian dinner rolls, they really round out this scrumptious burger slider recipe. We jazzed our burger up with a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar and McCormick Grill Mates Montreal Steak Seasoning. This is exactly what a juicy cheeseburger should taste like, complete with sharp cheddar cheese, all in the form of a burger slider. Is it supper yet? Check out the recipe here and enjoy!
2. Italian Sandwich Sliders
The fun thing about sliders is that you can take a base recipe and adapt it to what you have available or to meet specific tastes! This Italian Sandwich Slider recipe from Girl Gone Gormet is a great example of how easy it is to make a delicious dinner that satisfies everyone’s pallet. Don’t like the banana peppers? Just put them on half. The kids prefer ham? It’s easy to make that happen, too! Let your imagination run wild! We enjoy ours with a homemade marinara dipping sauce that steps up the gourmet slider game exponentially.
We recommend using Nolechek’s Italian Salami with Wine and Genoa Salami on these Italian Sandwich Sliders and if you want to take it up yet another notch, replace the provolone with Marieke Gouda 6-9 month. You can thank us later.
3. Bacon Burger Sliders
No list of slider recipes would be complete without mentioning a bacon burger option. Whether you put the bacon in the burger or top it off with a couple of slices, as long as Nolechek’s Hickory Smoked Honey Cured Bacon is your bacon of choice, this burger slider will be a hit. We like ours topped with caramelized onion and a touch of Thousand Island dressing. When lettuce and pickles round out this burger slider, it’s hard to believe so much flavor can exist in such a small package. But, don’t worry, it does. The only question is how many of them can you devour?
4. Simple Taco Sliders
Simple taco sliders are anything but when you use Nolechek’s Chorizo. This Mexican-Style fresh sausage is the perfect replacement for traditional burger when making the filling for this simple slider recipe, adapted from Dinner at the Zoo.
- 1# Chorizo
- 1 # small dinner or slider rolls (King’s Hawaiian!)
- 1 TBSP melted butter
- ¼ - ½ tsp. garlic powder
- 8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese or Marieke Gouda Cumin
- Toppings like guacamole, salsa, sour cream
Preheat the oven to 375°F, slice the rolls in half and place the bottom half of the rolls on a sheet pan. Bake the bottom half of the rolls for 5 minutes or until bread is lightly toasted.
Fry the Chorizo for 8-10 minutes, breaking the meat into small pieces with a spatula.
Spoon the meat over the bottom of the rolls and layer the cheese on top. Place the top buns over the cheese layer.
Mix the butter and garlic powder and brush over the top of the rolls. Bake for 10 minutes or until the rolls are browned and the cheese is melted.
