5 Bratwurst & Wine Pairings By Nolechek’s
Wine and steak aren’t the only grand pairing around… in fact, wine goes just as well with some of the finest bratwursts around (Nolechek’s, that is!) In today’s blog post, we’ll let you know 5 bratwurst and wine combos that will make you want to turn around and proclaim to your filet mignon: do your wurst (ha!)
1. Cabernet Sauvignon & Traditional Bratwurst
We begin our list with a classic duo, that of Cabernet Sauvignon alongside Nolechek’s traditional bratwurst. Both items are a timeless flavor classic and go well together thanks to the deep nature of the cabernet and rich flavor of the traditional brat meat. Give this one a go and let us know what you think!
2. Cotes du Rhone & Jalapeno Bratwurst
Taking a trip down fancy town, we are met with a bold Cotes du Rhone wine that is begin elegantly sipped alongside the spicy zing of a Nolechek’s Jalapeno Bratwurst. The pronounced flavors that emanate from both the wine and the meat is why this pairing is one that we recommend you try.
3. Chardonnay & Cheddarwurst
Not a fan of red wine? Chardonnay and Cheddarwurst are your go-to combination. Chardonnay, though a white wine, has a rich body that pairs wonderfully with the ooey goeey cheesy depth of our Cheddarwurst.
4. Malbec & Blutwurst
Malbec is a most excellent wine for nearly all wursts, including those made of blood. Yes, our Kishka Blutwurst would make a killer addition to any Malbec wine night––we promise. Try it for yourself and see!
5. Sauvignon Blanc and Chickenwurst
And last but not least, we end our wine and bratwurst pairing journey with the Sauvignon Blanc and Chickenwurst. Being a white wine, the Sauvignon Blank is light and crisp, and is the perfect complement to our equally light and flavorful Chickenwurst.
And there you have it, 5 excellent wine and bratwurst pairings that we bet you never heard of in the first place! Try one, try them all, but whatever you do, be sure to stock up on our bratwursts at this link: ….. happy grilling!
